Year 1990! I was 14 and given the opportunity from a neighbour to a Saturday job as an apprentice to floor laying. This opportunity was accepted. Immediately I fell in love with this job and worked hard looking forward to future opportunities! I work weekends, holidays and then left school at 16 moving into full time floor laying. Aged 18 I purchased my first Van and was given the opportunity to work for a large flooring company of which I stayed with for 18 years. Realising my skills were not the level I wanted I left and continued with another company taking courses in specialist instals and products that were a cut above the rest! During this time, I was bringing my two sons into the trade as they too left school. Adam my now full business partner has also worked for different companies leaning more than most and providing an extremely high level of workmanship. 2023 bringing us to our first unit and the start of Millward’s flooring. Our hard work and dedication have now become Millward’s Flooring LTD and providing a high level of professionalism and skill to our customers. We have over 50 years of combined experience in all types of domestic and contract flooring and thrive on giving that to our customers. We look forward to working together with you to bring your designs to reality.
